How much is
Enough...ish?
The only retirement calculator that admits it has no idea what it's talking about.
Some old rich white guy once said "it's not about timing the market, it's about time in the market." We have no idea if that's true, but it sounds right and he seemed confident. So we built a calculator around it. You're welcome.
We defaulted to 8% because it's the number people use. Is it accurate? Absolutely no idea. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results, we are not financial advisors, and please don't sue us.
The part where we cover ourselves legally
Everything on this page is for entertainment and general informational purposes only. We are not financial advisors. We are not investment guides. We are not your accountant, your father, or Warren Buffett (though he did say some useful things, apparently).
The 4% rule is a guideline, not a guarantee. Markets go up. Markets go down. Sometimes they do both on the same Tuesday.
Please consult an actual financial professional before making any real decisions. Or don't. We're a website, not your boss.
Let your money work for you. (We have no idea what that means either but everyone keeps saying it.)
Now go track it.
Knowing your number is step one. Watching it grow is the whole game.
